Harry Styles is a Man of Consent

We all know or have heard of Harry Styles the former one direction band member. Whether you would like to admit it or not.

He recently came out with a new music video “Watermelon Sugar”.

There is a lot of touching occurring throughout the music video. He even dedicated the music video to touching.

Why is Harry Styles the “consent king”?

He asked for permission before even attempting to touch the people onset. With all that touching occurring throughout the video, he managed to take the time to ask for permission.

The Proof!

A model Ephrata who was on the set discussed her experience on an Instagram Live video on Tuesday. She was live with another model, Aalany McMahan, who was also on the set. She had recalled that Harry had asked for permission to touch her hair.

“The people were telling him to touch my hair and play with it and he was like, ‘Wait, wait, wait, pause — can I even touch your hair? Is that even okay?’” she said. “And I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s so nice. That was really sweet.’”

“He was very huge on the consent,” McMahan concurred.

“Consent king!” Ephrata declared.

The model, in turn, asked for his consent when she was being made to kiss him.”They told me to kiss him, and “I felt like I had to ask, too. I was like, ‘Are you sure?’ and he was like, ‘Yes, go ahead!’”

“That’s why it was so fun because everybody was so like comfortable,” she observed.

There is no denying that he takes the role of being the consent king!
